Yeah it came out a second ago...but the video for Esser's latest single is Brilliant, plus it's a super catchy tune!
London's Esser is signed to a major, he's young, honest and king of clever word play -
"I've got a problem, it's called living"
His debut 'Braveface' just dropped in the UK and he'll be doing a bunch of dates there in support of the records release over the next few weeks. No dates set for North America yet, Scrap that...word is Esser will be playing the NXNE Festival in Toronto on June 17th at Wrongbar with the city's
'Vitamins For You ' opening...Sounds good to me, HIT IT!

Paloma Faith (LDN)

I first found out about Paloma Faith about a year ago, she is one of the most dashingly creative and talented vocalists and performers to come out of the UK in a long time. Highly influenced by some of the great Jazz and soul chanteuses from the 40's & 50's, she has crafted her very own distinct style. Her voice is powerful, controled and beautifully textured, her lyrics frank, smart and often home to humour.
Faith is eccentric, exceptionally pretty and all about breaking boundries in art and performance. The following video is for her single 'Stone Cold Sober' set to drop next month. It was directed by award winning music video director Sophie Muller who has worked with many big bands and artists over the years, including No Doubt, Blur, Garbage and Annie Lennox.
The video sports a colourful bunch of characters at what appears to be a pretty mad party, it also features a cameo appearence by another London based, Bloggertronix fave Josh Weller.
(P.s - The deadly mirror dress in the above picture, worn by Faith was designed by Petra Storrs...Who has also done design work with MGMT and Florence + The Machine...Check her out!)

BONUS!! -
A wee interview with Paloma...I have no idea who shot it, or where it was originally posted, but it really highlights her influences, and how she feels about the music industry. She also candidly talks about what makes her tick musically and how she cultivated her unique style.
